Happy Easter!

Easter Sunday was a beautiful day in more ways than one. In the morning, Marisa found her Easter basket filled with bath toys and beach toys!

We then went to church in our Easter clothes. Marisa looked absolutely adorable in her dress!

I love those pouty, luscious lips!

Afterwards, we went to Grandpa and Grandma Hart's house for an Easter egg hunt, an amazing Easter dinner, and Grandpa's birthday. Happy Birthday Grandpa!

I am eternally grateful for my Savior's love for me and his atoning sacrafice. I know that He lives and that I will live with him again. Happy Easter!

Spring or Summer?

Today felt like the first day of Summer because it was so hot! It was nice and sunny and Tim and I were laughing at all the people who have to deal with snow right now. haha I know, we are mean. So we decided to go to the pool. It was Marisa's first time at the pool and she was the cutest little swimmer!

Ralph Lauren swimsuit! Thanks Aunt Leslie!

I heart babyGap!

I went to babyGap today to get Marisa her easter dress and all her spring/summer clothes. Let's just say that I am officially declaring myself an addict of babyGap. I am soo addicted. I knew I was in love with this store but when I went in today, a wonderful feeling like no other came over me. haha I LOVE babyGap. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that store.

Here are a few cute items I bought:

Cover-up for the beach with a matching hat!
Her easter dress!I bought this cardigan in green to go over her easter dress!

A cute dress with a matching headband!
Cute shirt on sale!

babyGap = my new love. =o)

My shopping trip was very successful (I definetly, for sure, without a doubt, could have spent more but I had to refrain myself. Actually a mother at the store and I were laughing at ourselves because we had to stop ourselves from going crazy...haha). Marisa is set to look super cute for spring and summer!

I just have a few more items that I am keeping my eye on...

Happy 11 month birthday!

Eating strawberries! Cute little red nose!

Update: A few more words that Marisa can say are, "Banana", "Baby", "Boo!" And of course, she continues to say, "Hi!", ALL of the time.

Also, if we ask her, "What does a dog say?"
Her reply, "Woo, Woo!" haha

She also knows the answers for...
"Where is your nose?"
"Where is your bellybutton?"

Marisa continues to learn so much and so fast. She always entertains us with the funny things she says, does, and learns. We love you baby girl!

Toy Strike

Marisa has been getting sick of her toys lately. But, she found some interest in boxes. Who needs fancy toys when you have boxes?

Where's Marisa?

"Be Cute!"

Marisa doing her "Be Cute!" face.

Marisa doesn't have to do her "Be Cute!" face to be cute. She is always cute. So cute in fact, (yes, I am about to brag about my cute daughter) that I was literally stopped at the grocery store by 6 people a couple days ago! Yes, 6 people, during my quick shopping trip to grab a few essentials. And when I mean stop, I mean literally stop my shopping cart to take a look at her and tell me how cute she is. One lady even interrupted my shopping by saying, "Hi, I'm sorry, but I just had to come over and tell you how cute your daughter is! She was just looking over at me and smiling. She is soo cute!"

I thought that was so nice of the lady to say that to me!

Another lady in spanish said to me, "Oh my goodness how precious! How pretty, those eyes! Looks just like her mommy!" (Thanks for the compliment lady.)

The funny thing is, whenever people stop to take a look at Marisa and comment on how cute she is, 99.9% of the time the comment is followed by how big her eyes are and how long her eyelashes are. No fair they usually say!

I guess Tim and I gotta keep making cute babies.... =o)

Daddy's Cutie

Marisa learned from Nana (Grandma Lobo) how to put on a necklace and take it off. Since we got back to California, she has realized that even though Mom doesn't have a necklace that she can play with, she has other alternatives. Daddy's ties!

Putting on Daddy's tie!

Once Marisa puts on her "necklace", she plays in it for awhile...

Funny story: She also tries to use tissues or wipes, paper, and even Daddy's socks as necklaces!...haha. Super cute to watch her try and put them around her neck.

Another super cute thing Marisa has learned is to "Be Cute". haha Whenever I say, "Marisa, be cute!", she tilts her head, lifts her shoulder to her head, and flashes the cheesiest smile you have ever seen. This picture is definetly not one of her cheesiest smiles but still funny.

"Be Cute!"

Lastly, Marisa has figured out how to turn on and off the TV. I love how she gets on her tiptoes.

My Hubby

What is his full name? Timothy Wayne Hart

How long have you been married? Almost 2 years

How long did you date? We dated for 10 months and were engaged for 16 months. I think we hold the record for longest engagement at BYU. =o)

Who eats more sweets? Tim for sure. He can eat chocolate chip cookies for dinner. And he likes the weirdest candy too. Swedish fish, Peachios, and the worst of them all....Chili covered Mangos!! AHHH! YUCK!

Who said I love you first? Tim did. It was kinda awkward because I didn't say anything after...haha. I did say it a few days later though.

How old is he? 26

Who is taller? Tim of course.

Who is smarter? Tim, hands down. That is one of the things that attracted me to him. His brains. haha (Little did I know that his brain came with a big Hart head. Now my daughter and future children will also have to deal with a large head. Sorry babies! Or sorry mommy who has to deliver big head babies....)

Who can sing better? Tim for sure. You don't want to hear me sing. I don't even like to hear me sing.

Who does the laundry? Me. We would wear dirty, stinky clothes if I didn't do laundry.

Who pays the bills? Me. Well, Tim works to pay the bills and I write the checks.

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? If you're facing the bed, I sleep on the right side.

Who mows the lawn? Our HMG. haha Just kidding. We don't have one yet. Maybe when we move into a house we can get our very own Pedro.

Who cooks dinner? Tim would never cook dinner. He would rather eat cereal for dinner before cooking anything. And Tim doesn't help me with dinner either. He even tells me he doesn't want to. haha

Who drives? When we are together he does mostly but there are times where I do because I don't like it when he adjusts my seat and mirrors.

Who is more stubborn? Me, hands down!! You have no idea. =o)

Who kissed who first? It took Tim forever to kiss me. He would get really close to my face but never actually kiss me. Finally Tim kissed me after I firmly said, "KISS ME!"

Who asked who out? I asked Tim out because apparently I stood him up when he asked me out first. So I figured I had to ask him out in order for him to realize that I really was interested.

Who proposed? Tim. It was very...Tim. Random and funny...haha. We went out to dinner for my "birthday" and then had a delicious dessert at Foundry Grill in Sundance. After dessert we went for a walk in the freezing cold. Tim stopped me on the bridge in front of a stream where he pulled out an Almond Joy from his jacket and said, "This is for you because I am nuts about you", then he pulled out a bottle of juice and said, "This is for you because I think you are sweet", then he pulled out a rose and said, "This is for you because I love you", then he pulled out the ring and proposed!
P.S. The almond joy is my favorite candy bar, the juice I just flat out love, and the rose came out of a bouquet of roses from my room that Tim stole. He did pay for the ring though. haha I love you Tim!

Who has more siblings? Tim. He has 4 sisters I have one brother and one sister.

Who wears the pants? We do a good job being equals.
