Beach house 2010
This year was a cold, cold, cold beach house. Tim, especially, was looking forward to a week of bathing in the sun and getting some color. The poor man doesn't ever get to see it! Either way, it is always a blast being with family and getting away for a little bit. Another successful beach house.
Boating - Apples to Apples - Family soccer games - Old Spaghetti Factory - Every day morning run with Grandpa to Seaside Donut Shop - Tennis - Stories being retold for the thousandth time - Dance party - Balboa Pier walks - Maze following by Marisa- Ruby's breakfast- Watching sunsets - The Crab Cooker - TK Burger - Late night Balboa bars.
We have true California girls in our hands. Natalie LOVED the sand. Loved it so much to eat it, again. By the mouth fulls too. She kept face planting on purpose to have it all over her face and in her mouth.
And Marisa LOVED the water. It didn't even bother her that it was freezing in AND out of the water. This girl can't get enough of Newport.
We also can't get enough of the 50+ Hart family members we get to see this time of year every year. There is nothing better than being with cousins, aunts and uncles, in-laws, etc. The Harts are really one big happy family. Van has always been Marisa's buddy and this year they just couldn't get enough of each other. I think Natalie didn't mind having someone her age either.
The boating activity, or otherwise known as "The Party Boat", according to the grandkids, was so hilarious. The best way to get your children to not move a single millimeter; strap them into a life jacket. I couldn't stop laughing how my girls wouldn't move! After several minutes though they eventually felt comfortable with the jacket on and they were all over the boat. :)
16th year and still going strong! See you all next year...
