31 Weeks

I had a doctor's appointment this morning and once again everything seems to be looking just fine. The doctor told me that she won't be really big which I already knew. When I told him that Marisa was only 6 pounds 9 ounces he said, "That is exactly what we are looking at here." So I don't and never have expected Natalie to be any bigger.

I can't believe I am near the end. This pregnancy has flown by! I'm starting to really feel big now. It is getting harder and harder to move around and do the simple things, hence my relax parenting with Marisa. I just don't care and I basically let her do whatever she wants. haha Sleeping is also getting more and more uncomfortable. I have like a million pillows surrounding me and I'm always tossing and turning. Napping is an absolute must now for me. I'm eating more and more and like my last pregnancy, the weight comes all at the very end! With Marisa I gained 30 pounds, but I kinda hope I don't have to gain that much with Natalie. 25 pounds would be nice...less baby fat to lose once she is here. =o)

I feel pretty prepared as far as having everything in order for Natalie's arrival. I still get a little nervous though thinking about taking care of a newborn again. The first two months I would say are a struggle for me. Babies don't come with personal manuals and labor/delivery/postpartum never happens the way you invision it. And the fact that I'll have two children freaks me out a little! So weird!

But in the end despite it all...I'm still excited!

Ironically, this is exactly how Natalie was positioned at the doctor's office!

At babycenter.com it says: This week, your baby measures over 16 inches long. She weighs about 3.3 pounds (try carrying four navel oranges) and is heading into a growth spurt. She can turn her head from side to side, and her arms, legs, and body are beginning to plump out as needed fat accumulates underneath her skin. She's probably moving a lot, too, so you may have trouble sleeping because your baby's kicks and somersaults keep you up. Take comfort: All this moving is a sign that your baby is active and healthy.

You're so pretty! I love the name Natalie. Don't be surprised if we copy it at some point in the future. :)
