I am so proud of Marisa. It has been one of the many highlights of being a mother, and especially being a mother to a daughter like her, to teach her how to read. Everyday she amazed me with her ease and desire of learning. She worked hard and really applied herself and I hope she is so proud of her new accomplishment. It's a huge milestone!
We have talked about having a reading party when she finished her reading lessons. She has been counting down the last week or so for it. The party consisted of getting babyccinos and donuts...
and books!
Congratulations my sweet girl! Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you. We look forward to watching worlds open up to you through reading.
